Draw bias (aw)

Straight course (5f) – lows to middle draws have the edge. Very high draw draws tend to find it tough.

Round course – Low numbers (stall 1 worst) can be disadvantaged, worth taking on stall 1 over most trips, harrowing can produce draw biases on particular days.

Draw bias (turf)

6f / 7f – lower draws tend to have the advantage (limited data). Stall 1 has a decent record over both trips but again, limited data, however they are drawn next to the rail so it could be a playable bias that will likely not be overbet.

Pace bias (aw)

5f – clear advantage to front runners / prominent racers;
6f – clear advantage to front runners / prominent racers;
7f – 1m – front runners tend to struggle. Prominent racers that track the pace tend to have the edge.
1m3f or more – no real advantage.

Pace bias (turf)

There are so few turf races at Southwell that there is not enough data to form an opinion.
